Welcome to Cherry Tree Class

For 2025-26

Cherry Tree class is home to our Reception aged children along with some of our youngest Year 1 children
The Class Teachers are Mrs Chadwick (Monday) and Mrs Noble (Tuesday - Friday)
The dedicated Early Years Learning Coach is called Mrs Warner. Learning Coach support will also come from Mrs Lovegrove.
Learning for our Reception children follows the Revised Early Years Foundation Stage Profile
The Government approved phonics scheme used to teach early reading and phonics is Little Wandle Letters and Sounds
For our Reception children, Forest School takes place on a Friday morning and is led by our Forest School Teacher, Mrs Symmons (from after October Half Term until May half term).
Cherry Tree class has one P.E. lesson led by our sports specialis teachers, J.S. Sports
In December, children in Cherry and Apple Tree classes will take part in a Nativity play performance for the school and their families.
