Oak Class

Oak Class is home to our older Year 4 children and our Year 5 cohort. The class is taught by Mr Boyd who is supported by members of the Learning Coach team including Mrs Easy and Mrs Soules.

Oak Class enjoys a weekly PE lesson delivered by our specialist sports teachers, JS Sports, giving children regular opportunities to stay active and develop their physical skills.

Year 4 and Year 5 children also take part in Forest School once each half term from November through to May, enjoying outdoor learning, teamwork and exploration in our woodland environment.

​

Later in the summer term, Year 5 children (along with Year 6) attend a three‑day residential, offering exciting opportunities for independence, adventure and personal growth.  The Year 4 children won't miss out as in the spring term they experience a school camp, giving them the chance to make lasting memories, build confidence and practise their independence.
