myHappymind is a whole‑school programme designed to help children build positive mental wellbeing, resilience and confidence. It teaches pupils simple, science‑based strategies to understand their brains, manage their emotions and develop healthy habits that support learning and happiness both in school and at home. The programme is used weekly in classrooms and assemblies, and children quickly become familiar with its language, characters and techniques — many of which they enjoy sharing with their families.

The initiative is NHS‑backed and has been shown to reduce the need for additional support such as CAMHS referrals and external exclusions, while strengthening positive behaviours across the school community. Parents often report noticeable improvements in their child’s confidence and ability to cope with challenges. By embedding myHappymind into everyday school life, we aim to give all children the lifelong tools they need to thrive in the modern world.

Parents will also receive their own login details for the myHappymind Parent Portal, giving access to short videos and resources that explain the programme and show how its strategies can be used at home. This helps create a consistent approach between school and family life, supporting children to build confidence and resilience in both settings. If you have any issues accessing your account, please contact the school office for support.
